Casiotone for the Painfully Alone 0

“LoFi” is not necessarily a quality stamp in my book, but listen to Casiotone for the Painfully Alone and you understand why sometimes less really is more. These songs are really good, and the arrangements are well put together. The creative mind often work well within limits, and Owen Ashworth does exactly this.

209 0

I just love the musical and artistic lo-fi universe of Christian Hansen. In my opinion one of the best danish singers and songwriters around (he is also frontman of Dial Zero). He calls it 209, and all tracks are available in full length at his website. Check it out at 209.dk

Dans & Lær (Dance & Learn) 0

I’ve been playing with this great band for a little over a year now, and you should definitely check it out. It is based on a great idea by Bjarke Søballe Andersen; to put music to samples of and old cassette tape containing birdsong and a speaker telling facts about the birds. The result is quite funky and nerdy partymusic that the audience loves to dance to.
